VIKING MOTORS Peetri – New modern Accident Repair Centre

Challenge
Design and outfitting of the largest, modern Accident Repair Center in the Baltics, located in Peetri, Harju County.
Solution
We planned, designed, and equipped, in collaboration with the Viking Motors body repair team, the largest and highly efficient accident repair center in the Baltics. The new center encompasses body repair, painting, and assembly departments, as well as an automatic car wash and three manual car washing bays.
Achieved results
New, state-of-the-art equipment enables higher-quality and more efficient work, reducing process time and ensuring customer satisfaction.
A workshop space more than twice as large, combined with a well-thought-out layout and equipment positioned according to the optimal workflow, allows for significantly higher throughput.
Significant savings in electrical and thermal energy thanks to smart equipment solutions and heat recovery.
Optimal working conditions for employees — the equipment, workflow, and social aspects are carefully designed to ensure maximum performance while minimizing strain on workers and taking their needs and overall well-being into account.
The entire accident repair process — from the damage inspection to handing over the repaired car to the customer — is managed using CabPlan planning software. In addition to enabling smooth work scheduling, CabPlan allows for quick adjustments to the daily schedule and facilitates seamless, real-time communication between all parties involved.
Installed equipment
BLOWTHERM Extra Spraybooth 4.5 × 10 m, with an internal height of 3.3 m and an air exchange capacity of 38,000 m³/h. The booth is drive-through design, featuring a 4 m wide electric rolling door for exiting the booth.

Two BLOWTHERM Genius Preparation setups, with total of 9 working bays. Each setup is equipped with its own thermo-ventilation unit, both units are equipped with heat recuperators for energy saving. Airflow and lighting can be individually selected for each work area. Electric curtains are installed in front of and between the working bays. Every second workstation features a recessed lift for comfortable working position.
BLOWTHERM MIX Modular Paint Mixingroom, equipped with a STANDOBLUE - paint mixmachine, Drester Ace solvent/water borne spraygun cleaning machines, Drester Dynamic Triple closed loop solvent regenerator and Green Line fully ventilated mixing tables and material storage. The paint mixing room has its own thermo-ventilation unit with electric heating and 80% efficiency heat recovery, ensuring optimal airflow with low energy consumption.
